Full Service Gown Preservation $250

  * Your Wedding Gown cleaned and preserved.
  * Two additional items of your choice included.
  * Full pickup and return shipping included.

We will pick up your items from your hotel or other location of your choice, package them up and ship them to our preservation company. Then, when processing is complete, they will be shipped to your home or another location of your choice.

Two additional items are included free with your Gown for preservation. Additional items, above the first two can be included for $20 each item.

Rush Service (4 to 6 weeks) is also available for additional $25.
(Normal turn-around is 8-12 weeks)

“Self Service” Gown Preservation $195

  * Your Wedding Gown cleaned and preserved.
  * Two additional items of your choice included.
  * “Self service” shipping and return shipping.

The same full-featured preservation service as above except, instead of having your items picked up, FitForaBride will send a shipping kit to your home or other location of your choice. Then, when you return from your honeymoon, you can use the shipping kit to send your items to our preservation company yourself. After processing, they will be shipped to you at the same or another location you specify.

Everything you need to package and ship your items to the Wedding Gown Preservation Company will be included in your kit. Once you have your kit just follow the enclosed instructions, using the enclosed materials to package your items. Then fill out the pre-paid U.P.S. label and it's ready to go.

The Payment
Payment must be by credit card. Your credit card account will not be charged until after your items are picked up or your “Self Service” preservation kit is being shipped. Your payment includes all shipping charges except additional insurance.

The Process
When the preservation company receives your items, they will process them to remove all floor dirt and stains, including any sugar and beverage stains —the ones that like to hide and then turn brown over time. You may also request needed minor repairs to be done for a nominal fee.

After processing, your gown will be fitted to an acid-free bust form and placed, along with your other items, in an acid-neutral windowed display case. These are then slipped into a long-term storage chest and finally, into a rugged shipping box for the return trip home.

Note: Shoulder and bust pads will be removed, preventing damage due to any acidic materials used in their manufacture. These will be returned, but not in the window case with your preserved items.

The Guarantee
The above process carries a 20 year guarantee against yellowing or sugar caramelization stains. If, at any time, yellowing or stains become visible, The Preservation Company will reprocess your gown free of additional charge. If reprocessing fails to remove the stains, your entire preservation fee will be refunded.

Canceling your Service
You can cancel your preservation service and receive a full refund to your card account at any time before service is in progress.

Shipping Insurance
Additional insurance on your shipment is not mandatory, but highly recommended since neither FitForaBride nor the Wedding Gown Preservation Company can be responsible for your items after they have left our control. As part of your kit, you can specify additional insurance on your shipment at the rate of $2 per $100 of declared value.
